-CUPE stands for Canadian Union of Public Employees (www.cupe.ca)
-All graduate assistants at OISE/UT are members of CUPE Local 3907.
Graduate Assistants pay monthly union to CUPE 3907 dues which are deducted
from their salary.
-Teaching assistants, TEPAs, and sessionals across University of Toronto
belong to CUPE 3902, and many other unions are active at U of T
-Largest public sector union in Canada with 500,000 members
